Now, having said nice things about India, I have to also say how deeply embarrassing it is to find that India seems to surpass the USA is some basic areas. We really do seem to be a third world country these days.
Ah.. India has 400 million people who use the ground as a toilet every day for their entire lives, so let’s not sing their virtues too much. They miss the boat on basic sanitation and clean water, so they have some work to do bringing a big part of their country out of the third world.
