Somewhat, on the enlarged organ part. They'd been doing blood boards on me and watching my counts for a while. It's been slowly dropping over the last year. The liver can be partially explained by diabetes - the oncologist said it's fairly common in diabetics. They did a pretty thorough ultrasound on me to confirm, as well. He saw something in my last blood results that had him send me back to my regular doc with referral to do a marrow biopsy, but she balked and has me scheduled for a gastro consult on Wednesday. They wanna run a scope up me and check for tumors or bleeders. I'm in my 50's and have never had one done, and they've been hounding me for years to have a procedure, so this is their opportunity to get medieval on me, I suppose. LOL Good news is, I've lost 30 pounds in the last ten months. Bad news is, I haven't really been trying that hard to do it, my wife has been telling me I've been losing it to fast, and she thinks they're related. But she'll take one thing a doctor says, Googles it, and thinks she's frickin' Columbo with a medical degree.
