Oregano:
Best used in a marinara sauce; rough chop and add to either bolgnese or pizza sauce (if you are making pizza!).
Other uses would be to START with sauteed onions in olive oil, add oregano and thyme, equally. Add to oil/garlic sauce or “bring-in” chicken breast. Finish with fresh tomato diced and splash onto fetiuccine.
Tonight, I’ll be pan-searing filet-mignon with basil and oregano. Oven roasting and making a pan-gravy to spoon over egg-noodles. Broccoli.
So I can pick the leaves at anytime once they start to grow? The leaves on my plant are smaller than a dime. Real small plant, just started it this summer.
