So just exactly what kind of Business Model is included in an operation like this?

We weighed the risks, blithely tossed those risks over our shoulder, and tore down the Apple TV anyway.

Sounds more like a bunch of 9yo's digging a "fort" in the back yard.

P*ss all over legal agreements with The Biggest Dog on the porch, get caught, get a lifetime ban and all they've got to say is "Live and learn"?

Calling 'em "maroons" doesn't even come close. (Although my Old School Navy description would burn ears and probably earn me a vacation from posting here for far to long to use.)

Oh well. I'll just look up the Company name for this doofus bunch and won't use their stuff for anything.

In the future, what reputable tech employer is going to believe what they say on a resume? Why in the world would I hire someone who willfully ignored a signed NDA with a big company? Even if they own up to it on their resume, they're totally useless on any project that requires confidentiality.

You're right, "maroons" doesn't begin to cover it. I have some stronger terms, but as you said, we don't want to get banned from the site...
