I use to live about 3 blocks from this Mall. It’s a dying mall and about 2/3 empty, or more. Use to be a really great upscale mall.
I met my future wife there on a blind date back in 96.
Rarely go there any more. About 10 minutes down the road from me.
My mom lives about 1/2 mile form there.
Like you said, used to be a really nice mall, now it is mostly empty. Sadly the only reason to go there now is a Barnes & Noble and a Belk store.
Oddly enough Forest Acres is a nice area with some upscale houses near that mall.
We used to go there as teenagers. I was surprised it's still open. RIP Officer Alia.
