Full title: Carl's Jr's racy new TexMex burger commercial featuring scantily-clad women playing volleyball over a border wall reflects 'what's going on with immigration', says one of its models
New ad involves two sets of models representing Texas and Mexico The women are playing to determine whether the burger is 'Tex' or 'Mex' Kara Del Toro, who is in 'Team Mex', says the commercial is a 'bold move' She claims it is 'playing' on the immigration debate dominating the 2016 presidential race The American team are all blondes while the Mexican team are brunettes but Del Toro insists the commercial is not stereotyping

It would be stereotyping if the mex side were short dumpy and pregnant. So stereotyping is what you call that which I see on the sidewalks every day. Those folks are some impossibly, vertically small people.

The hot hispanic chick is supposed to represent the cultural tapestry of Pedro’s mugshot while being booked for four counts of vehicular homicide and driving while intoxicated on a lonely state highway.

Well, I am not happy that they are using sex to sell burgers. On the other hand, at least they are not pushing homosexuality like Lay’s potato chips, Doritos, etc.

I’m only offended that the tex-mex burger I order will probably never look remotely like the one in the commercial.

Haven’t dined at one in a couple of years. The one near Oshkosh I think.
I try to cut as much of the fast food as possible. The chemicals in a lot of the food gives me headaches.
Good to see some company being a little politically incorrect. Good on them.

“Definitely not the border jumper type mexicans.”
If that’s what they were sending over I’d have no problem. Not a sliver of guilt to be seen. I’ll watch a few more times, just to make sure.

bump for much viewing later. I figure a frame-by-frame analysis of the video is in order.

Mickey D's has that covered. Their liberal focus groups have said this will outsell Carl's Jr. by millions! You're confused, that's the McD's quick weight loss meal deal. Order one of those and you won't want, or be able to, eat for a week.

That has to be one of (if not THE) greatest commercials ever known to mankind!
I see they were using the border fence as a net.

I haven’t seen a Carl’s Jr in ages but anything Tex Mex is welcome to me. The closest I’ve found to Tex Mex in central Florida are the tostadas and enchiladas at Chiles, except substitute salsa and chips for the black beans and rice they’ll try to put on your plate.

It took me dozens of viewings of the "Game of War" commercial to recognize KU. She's definitely been on a cheeseburger diet. here's her and Justin Verlander "hangin' out"
