After decades spent playing up the dangers of a warming planet, the New York Times admits that even if every country lived up to their current carbon reduction pledges, it won't make any difference.

It’ll make a big financial difference to the money changers who’ll shuttle carbon credits from third world nations to large industrial countries/companies for real cash.
Record-break-cold-winter bump.
Politicians take vacations to exotic places under the pretense of doing work
global warming is a hoax.
Name ONE ‘climate change’ solution they have proposed that does not involve government control over industry?
In fact, try to name just one proposal.
It’s all about ‘funding’ - in the $trillions
“Itll make a big financial difference to the money changers wholl shuttle carbon credits from third world nations to large industrial countries/companies for real cash.”
It’s just redistribution. American tax dollars will go to Guatemala so an American company, more than likely oversees will use the carbon credit to produce more pollution. Guatemala in return kicks back some money to the rats and their leadership bags the rest.
How come no one brings up the obvious. Carbon credits don’t reduce anything. All is does is transfer money to put out the same levels of pullotion.
Senators would show up at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, and head straight for the duty free booze shop.
Mostly southern democrats with women (wives?) who wore big hats.
They never talked with any GIs, except to order one to push their shopping cart, as they filled it.
Then GIs loaded it on the plane for them, and off they went.
A GI was only allowed to buy one bottle for return to the states. I think I recall that right, may have been two.
Nobody ever mentioned the limit to the scum from Washington.
BTW, even under the extra weight of these hefty senators, the island never did tip over.
Hi, IBD.
Why don’t you just for ONCE respond to at least ONE post? After all these years, and all these people responding to you, it is extremely disrespectful of this site and these people to refuse to respond even once. All the while, of course, your site gets pimped.
Well said. If you’re going to post to this site, you should at least respond to the comments.
+1
I have gone through a number of pages of IBD’s thread postings and I have yet to find one response. If I’m missing one, then someone please fill me in.
There are a few posting entities like that.
Hundred of excerpts, nary a single response for years.
In my mind, that disrespects both the site and the participants.
I agree.
You have been pinged because of your interest in environmentalism, alarmist wackos, mainstream media doomsday hype, and other issues pertaining to global warming.

Please ping me to all note-worthy threads on global warming.

Global Warming on Free Republic here, here, and here
There is only one way to deal with the threat of Climate Change... ignore it. The left certainly has a knack with doing this when it suits their thinking, like with the Planned Parenthood baby parts business, they would rather pretend it is a hoax.
Also, next time a Chicken Little leftist goes on and on about Climate Change, ask them what they would do about it. During the long silence, you can get some rest, and be free of all that yammering.
The New York Times - dragged kicking and screaming to reality...
Been getting killed with 2 early snows in Fairbanks! Bring on the globull warming!
