I logged in to Facebook this morning and got the White Screen of Death. It shows nothing. Just a blank screen. All other sites work fine. I tried it from home, and remoted into work, and it failed in both places.
Anyone else getting this?

Maybe it is regional then. Both computers I have access to, fail.

That’s what happens when you become totally racist.

But the fact that I am even white, means that I am totally racist. < /liberal>

It’s GOTTA be something regional around Georgia. I just used HideMyIP, just in case I was blocked by that motherZucker(berg) from both work and home IP, and I appeared to be coming out of Milan, Italy. Still no dice. FB is messing up for Atlanta regional people, maybe? Not sure how that could be happening, doesn’t seem to make internet sense.

I can get it fine, but I did read it is a regional problem. I am in Florida.

Seriously, if you use the same browser and version of browser at home and work, it’s possible some newly released javascript is playing badly with that version of the browser’s script engine ... and causing Mr. Browser to think there are no html elements to display - i.e. there may not be an error, but the html the browser is receiving is empty. Unlikely to be that Facebook’s servers are serving you nothing ... although it’s possible. Either way, it will be fixed soon. Refresh, and try different browsers if you need to get on.

I see it’s regional. Well, someone will get fired or yelled at for that.

I really don’t need to get on — in fact, this is kinda a nice break! — but I’m just curry ows. :)

***Its GOTTA be something regional around Georgia.****
I just got on Facebook in Arkansas with no problems. HOWEVER, I noticed family members in Atlanta GA who live on Facebook have not posted anything for at least eight hours!
I bet they are having Facebook withdrawals right now!

To: Lazamataz
If it seems regional, it could be either at the ISP ... and lots of people w/your ISP are reporting it ... and so it appears regional. Also, companies like Akamai (Facebook has their own) have huge wikid smaht servers that cache information regionally so that pages come up faster ... and it doesn't always work.
html is very sensitive even though it tries to adjust for problems ... an extra start tag or end tag can hide an entire page ... that's what's usually going on if it's totally completely white, with no indication of error.

Totally white. No indication of error. EXCEPT, if I point to a direct page I happen to know about. Then I get a full facebook error message (minus any facebook bar).
