#19 My boss said I was too cold in my emails. He used as an example one where I said Hello followed by the detail of issue then the question usually with some screenshots.
He said I should use more customer service. I take 5,000+ calls a year and write unknown thousands of emails and argh.. this is what he finds fault in:
He said I did not say Please.
He also wanted me not to say Question: followed by the question. So now I have people replying back “what is the question?”
The sample he used was an email trail where only I said Hello. All others in the email trail were a ticket number for Subject, you did not know what it was about so 25 people had to look along with zero Hello or Please along with shorthand of the issue so you had to be involved or you would not know what was being talked about. BTW he and his boss more then once have a habit of replying with a ? only in their email to you. Just a ?
And you know this how ?

Anything that Boehner says that he was planning to leave in the past is NOTHING MORE THAN A LIE. He simply realized he was on the cusp of being voted out as Speaker, so he was getting out while “the getting was good”. He’ll now make a ton of money from his K Street pals.
