Firefox is what I use for accessing my pics at Photobucket as IE stops working there at times.
Yesterday Firefox was freezing up, knocking me of the internet again and again..I blamed it on Photobucket errors on page. Maybe not so after all.
I have yet to download 10...still using 7.

Something similar happened to me with firefox on Windows 8 recently.

I resolved it by going to Control Panel > Mouse, then going to the tab with the Scroll Wheel settings, and changing the number of lines to scroll with each click. Saved it. Then changed it back and saved it again. Was able to scroll properly in Firefox after resetting.

The other day I updated to Firefox 41.0 and the latest Flash, but one web site my wife frequents would not load.

I backed off the Flash update and it still froze. Now I'm back on Firefox 40.0.3 and all is OK.

Turn on Windows Firewall. Then go to Control Panel> Windows Firewall
Allow a program or feature thriugh Windows Firewall
Allow Firefox.

In Windows 7 you do the same. Mine was stuttering on pages and I thought it was Firefox. I even tried earlier versions http://www.oldapps.com but had the same effect. Since doing the above it has been way better.

Yes. I have exactly the same problem. I keep a “Task Manager” window open just so I can force Firefox closed when it freezes.

I updated to FF 41 for OS X and Android . No problems on either of those platforms.

I had the same problem with FF 41 and deleted it. Downloaded FF 39 and don’t have any problems now. I suggest you do the same and see if it fixes your problem. There is something wrong with the new mozilla build for firefox. I won’t be updating until they are sure it works correctly.
