Aww, Im no good on guitar... I can bang out some movable jazz chords, a blues shuffle, and a few Chuck Berry licks, but thats about it :) I think my hands are a bit too small to ever be great at it, so I switched to keyboards and just focus on that now. Try a different guitar. Go to a store that has a high volume of used one and try them out. Unless it fits your hands and unless the strings are set right in relation to the frets it can be frustrating if not impossible to play. I wasted 15 years on one.
I had an acoustic my dad bought me when I was about 13. My fingers never felt right and I could not progress with it. I took it on two deployments figuring I'd learn to play and no luck. Finally after I got married my first wife's uncles were visiting and they played. I showed it to them and said I couldn't play it. They tried and they couldn't either.
A few years later I had a lot of time on my hannds so I borrowed one from my cousin and took it to a shop to have it set up. It was amazing in the difference. Then I bought my own and now I can't play my cousins because the neck doesn't feel right to me. I have cheap Gibson Epiphone and a Takamine F400 12 string. The F-400 has a nickname of Lawsuit Martin because of the design. I can play good enough to enjoy myself playing them.

Try an electric 3/4 scale guitar.
Perfect for smaller hands.
Pretty good for medium sized ones, too. :)

No pedal machine. The only pedal I use is a Boss 65 Fender Deluxe Reverb, and I use that strictly for a presence boost in some venues with the pedal settings the same as the amp’s. I don’t use external effects at all.

If two FR guitar players crash into each other, would that be a Fender-bender?
