Just decided to restart a thread i made maybe 10 years ago.....Nothing is off limits....gear, favorite players, techniques, amps, effects...you name it, we can all discuss it.
I own numerous amps...SS and Tube Eventide effects, Hardwire and Line6.. I am mostly a Fender Telecaster guy but have a jazz box and various other.
Carry on!
Murder on tools though.
One twin neck made of Jarrah sustains like....well you can go get a bite to eat and...
One is a vocalist and plays the ukulele. The other plays a banjo ukulele, and violin.
Our band has 26 members, mostly ukulele. Our bass ukulele guy also plays lead on a soprano ukulele. We have 2 keyboards, a couple of harmonicas, and 3 guitars.
One of our harmonica players uses the harmonica he played in his tank in the Korean War. He told us the Chinese snipers would stop shooting when he was playing.
Anyone try the new version of the Roland Blues Cube?
Fender Strat here, along w/ Marshall tube amp, sometimes w/ Line6 add-on.
Rock on!
haha,I’m from D.C...saw Danny Gatton play locally at least 50 times; one of my all-time favs. His blazing guitar riffs were amazing, yet he never seemed as if he was straining like a lot of great guitarists...you woulda thought he was reading the newspaper! Hard to believe Danny never really went national, but stayed, for the most part, a local sensation. Especially loved when he played with Tom Principato (in Blazing Stratocasters?) So many great albums, but Redneck Jazz - the one pressed in red vinyl - is my all-time favorite. Shame he died an early tragic death.
Lucky you...Danny was the man for sure...he had the biggest bag of licks and tricks of any guitarist i know of...it just flowed endlessly...I’m sure you can attest to that. RIP Danny....The greats are usually troubled...Don’t know why.
I’ve never wanted to attend Fantasy Camp more:
Tony Iommi, Zakk Wylde and Steve Vai lead Feb 2016 Rock n’ Roll Fantasy Camp.

I hope Zakk cleaned up his life.
Name your favorite amp!

Just bought a North American made Godin 5th Avenue Kingpin II....anyone have one of these? Looking very forward to it!! I think i will play it with my Roland Jazz Chorus 77 or my Fender Deluxe reverb.
Let’s start a thing. And please ping us. Chris Flynn here from the band Art in America. Been playing guitar since I was 10. I’m 63 now. I only play and write songs , to post on Facebook and sell, as a hobby.
1974 fender stratocaster. Vox and Marshall jump 2203 amp. Line 6 amp. 4 acoustic guitars. 3 martins, and a Taylor. Music man bass. Tons of fuzztones and stomp boxes. Full studio at home with good mics and I use Reaper as a daw. Also have pro tools. Other gear to numerous to mention.
Please put me on a ping list.
