MLB has MLB.TV streaming. I streamed a few of their ‘free’ games. The quality was not great, kept buffering and messing up. They still say they have the right to blank out games that are not sold out. I don’t know if they enforce that because most games I have watched (Rangers home and away) most of the stadiums (day, night and weekends) where 1/3 to 1/2 filled.
NFL is supposed to be offering streaming, but I am not sure where or when.
Of course, there are illegal websites that filter many games. They are hit-and-miss and sometimes the video gets removed (a.k.a., they got caught) before the game ends.
Some sports websites (ESPN) may be doing what the broadcast networkd are — requiring one to log in through their cable/satellite provider to view recent programming.
Hulu is just starting to offer no-commercial programming at $12/month. They do say that some of their commmercial free are contractually required to have a couple of commercials at the beginning and/or end of a program.
Amazon Prime is having a special this Friday only: $67 for a year subscription instead of $100.
does the Prime sale open for renewals at that price?.....for the free shipping alone, its well, well worth it...
