The other good deal with Sling is that you can cancel it any time. No contract. Does not have Fox Sports which is a pain.

Funny, I didn’t recognize the alphabet agencies, but with over 400 of them, the ones I follow/pay attention to are IRS, ATF, NSA and a handful of others, sport.
I can find out most of what I need to know about them from the web.

‘How can Roku operate without a cable provider? Id LOVE to drop xfinity.’
Roku works off of your internet connection. If you’re not on dialup, you’re good.

I use this for sports , getting the right feeds can be a pain and it takes a bit of getting used to . but once you get it set your good to go.

Look up in the British SKY to find all the SPORTS you might want. I’m not giving a more obvious hint than that unless you pay me 50¢.

When I dropped cable, the biggest thing I missed was NFL football.
However, I discovered it was much more fun to watch a game at a sports pub, such as a Buffalo Wild Wings or a Yard House. Or even a local pub. The people there really get into the games and you get to eat wings and drink beer without making a mess in your own house.
Other times, I get to visit family to watch the games, especially around Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Nothing but the best service for me, everything was HD and lots of my channels stream on the net in country outside the house.

Have you heard of
ROKU and do you have a good high speed internet connection ?
Direct it ain't, but in the long run, it's cheaper and can deliver a lot of choices.
Amazon offers some
streaming TV choices.

If you are not under contract you should have no problem doing a lot of things.

And don’t forget NHL. We have the same problem so for now we are keeping DISH. Also we do watch some network TV and it’s nice that it’s all taped automatically for 10 days.
Sports is the main reason we still keep it, though.

Or listen to them on the radio, and follow live box scores on the Internet. You can still talk about the games with your friends, too.

On Friday, September 25, from 12:00am ET to 11:59pm PT, we are offering new members a special price of $67 (normally $99) for the first year of Prime.

New members only. Sorry.

I get similar from my cable co. They offer all kinds of greats savings and deals — for new subscribers.
We loyalists get the shaft — price increases 2-3 times a year, etc.

its on netflix
Last time I checked, only the older seasons. Netflix is good for some things (like Archer the first 5 seasons - which I find hilarious), but it is definitely not on the cutting edge.
Oh well, Netflix is what it is and not a bad deal for $7.99/month.

Sling TV is a great option for sports instead of cable. It's $20/month, no contract. The only downsides to it are it only works on computer or Roku and it can only be logged in to one device at a time. Still, since there is no contract it is worth trying it out for a month.
