Yep that gets me too. The Talosians were so brilliant and had such highly developed powers. But she explained that she was misshapen because the Talosians had never seen a human before and didn’t know how to put her back together. But then the Talosians were themselves humanoid. So they were similar to humans even if not human themselves.

Could be this whole run for POTUS was a way to worm some more bribes for future favors.
Now she has to be “too sick” to fulfill the promises. Maybe the Clintons are worried about having their legs broken or horse’s heads ending up in their beds.

My mom turns 81 Saturday, and doesn't look nearly as tired and sick as Killary. Mom raised 5 kids and was an Army nurse/ICU/Trauma nurse until she retired a few years ago.

Yeah, it made no sense. I could see her skin not healing properly. They had to make it worse to get the most mileage out of the plot but it was just illogical.
And then, it all fits when they return the first captain to the planet. Of course, they left out how the captain had the illusion of getting out of that device, which was more than just appearance.
Oh well. I could mention that the space shuttle was in various proportions to NCC-1701.
But still, TOS is my favorite because it’s the original. And I love it when the boulders bounce off of people, lol.
This is the beginning of her exit. First they leak to the tabloids (article at link), then the rumors swirl, then there will be a brief hospitalization, then an announcement that she is suspending her campaign for health reasons.
Book it. It is going to happen just like that, and this is the first step.
Then Crazy Uncle Joe swoops in to save the day. At the moment, he is cultivating the sympathy vote. You can count on Elizabeth Warren as his running mate, too. These people are so transparent.

Warren as VP??? Some liberal radical types were eager to see her run for pres. Warren as the running mate would excite the liberal radical Daily Kos crowd about this upcoming election.
