Rule number one in criminal law - get your fee, in cash, before you enter an appearance. Once you appear of record, the judge won’t let you out just because you violated rule 1, and after the case is resolved, you’ll never see a cent from your client.

Rule number two - never sue your client for a fee. It is your fault if you didn’t get your money while you could. And you knew you were dealing with a criminal.

So this fool got pulled over and refused to leave his tour bus for NINE HOURS because he was high and had guns?? LOL. The police should have just towed his ass to the impound lot with him in the thing.
