Lol! My mother was 100% Italian. My father was from eastern Tennessee, near the Smokey Mts. His father, I was told, and you could see it in his face and skin complexion, was half Cherokee. He and my father served together in the Navy. In fact, that was how my parents met. They met while my father was on leave visiting Central Park (in NYC).
