I'm not going to criticize the character plot anymore and just wait and see how it plays out...........
Yes, it was inevitable that FTWD was going to be compared to TWD, but really, TWD is that rare show in which everything came together almost perfectly. I don’t think it would be possible to do that the second time around. So for us, FTWD is just a fun show to pass the time until TWD comes back.
2nd your thanks to CJ.
The creators admitted that we, the audience, would know more than the characters.
That may be why the early episodes were so exasperating.
Last week, for example, the hubby says, “You know how I feel about guns.” I made the comment that, by the start of season 2, he will glady be toting all the weaponry he can carry.
In a way it is sad to watch these Liberals coming face-to-face to a reality they could never have imagined, because we know they are unprepared for what they will be facing in the coming episodes.
Recall that the WD group were well into season 2 before they came to terms with their new world, and they are still having to make adjustments each new season.
The old man seems to be the only one who has an inkling of the reality they may be facing.
Maybe the show’s premise for TWD fans is having a whole host of characters you want to see eaten.
Good analysis.
I’d much prefer the TWD lifestyle to the California way.
Seeing FTWD makes me grateful not to live in California.
22 days to go and its The Walking Dead!
California mindset?
Across the nation we can
have a rural vs urban
mindset. But here in California
we are all of the same mindset?
I was born and raised in rural
California towns. In small town
California the paradigm is similar
to small towns everywhere else
no matter what Hollywood and the
MSM tells you.
