Terribly sad. I lived in San Francisco when the hippies were migrating there. Originally a lot of them were just sweet, well-meaning kids having a bit of fun … But then the runaways and the confrontational druggies started to come in. We ran a Catholic residence and I can say that a lot of the kids who were running away had good reason to run (mostly sexual abuse by family members).The problem is that they were picked up by druggies and while we attempted to give them a safe space, a lot of times they wouldn’t stay. ..either bcause of drugs or the quick money from prostituution.
I went to the funeral of an infant beaten to death by his white middle class origin meth-using hippie parents. It shook up everybody in the city - but nothing ever happened to protect the children of people like that.

This is the Obama, Hillary, Bernie Sanders crowd. It’s also undeniable that when society and their aforementioned leaders praise and promote the homocide of precious human beings in the womb you will devalue life to the point that post born babies will also be vulnerable. Throw in extremely low expectations and free drugs and disaster strikes. America has always been special and superior but with the likes of this group the seeds of our demise are plentifully sown.
