No, different criteria. Females (not just human females) supply sex and offspring, males supply resources (territory, food, other resources) in exchange.
A male who can get multiple females for sex is a successful male. A female who can get resources from multiple males is a successful female.
A female who gets taken out for dinner, gets males at her beck and call to do her favors, who gets males to serve her in the hope of getting enough in her good graces that she will sleep with them, and yet never delivers any, is the type which corresponds with the male "player" (who gets sex without having to deliver on commitment).
