I loathe Apple products for the exact reason that liberals love them.

Is that Liberals such as Rush Limbaugh?

A piece of hardware does not have a political stance, Megan.

Steve Jobs was once asked why Apple did not make political donations to Democrat candidates and causes. He replied that "50% of Apple's customers are Republicans and he did not want to anger half of Apple's customer base." Toward that end, Apple did not involve itself in politics. Any donations you may have heard about involving Apple came from the Apple Employees' Political Action Committee. Steve Jobs did not make large donations personally either. Despite being a multi-billionaire, in the ten years leading up to his death, his political contributions, although generally donated to Democrat candidates, totaled less than $100,000. You can look it up. The records are public. Microsoft and Google donated far more to Liberal causes.

I refuse to update my Mac from 10.8.5 (Mountain Lion). My computer WORKS.

The later OS’s are too funky and glitchy.

I run Windows 7 in a virtual machine within my Mac and it’s a valuable pairing for the consulting work I do.

I’m far from a liberal but I have to interface with them and help them...

Need to go and cover my pepper plants - chilly tonight!

Well isn’t that nice, coming onto a thread you KNOW you have no interest in, and sharing your hatred and vaguely insulting people.

Ya know, there’s a series of threads that I don’t care for. What do I do when I see them, even though the subject usually irks me? I DON’T CLICK ON THE LINK. Somebody likes that series, I don’t, I’ll leave them to enjoy it even though I don’t. You’re welcome to do the same: move on.

I focus on the product. I went to Mac about three years ago and am VERY happy with this system. It is better.

I have a rip roaring Windows 10 home computer with multiple monitors. But I now spend 80% of my time on my MacBook pro.

My Mac Mini is a spam generator.

They have advertising that squeeze my e-mail and I can’t read it.

Why is that? Because they just work and you don’t have to dedicate your life to fiddling with the stuff? You make no sense whatsoever.
