1) You have to have a WIFI connection to download. I always upgrade via iTunes and my PC, to ensure that a full phone backup is made prior to upgrading the OS. Can you not do this for this version?

I’m downloading it on my iPad Air 2 right now. Our DSL wi-fi is not the fastest so I’m sure it will take a while.
I’m curious to see how having two apps running side-by-side will work.

Well, I have it running on my iPad Air now (and will soon have it running on the iPhone 6).
One thing I don't like is the way they changed the interface to close open apps. I liked the way they implemented that in iOS 8.x versions.
