Well, when people of his common heritage stop blowing people up in the name of their religion,

then he’ll stop being arrested for homemade “clocks”.

I think Dad is there based in what cop said when he found out who the kid was...

Though I can’t imagine why an imam who ran for president of a terror craphole like Sudan would be on a watch list..

He showed it to his science teacher who complimented him and advised him not to show it to anyone else.

Hey the cops are holding this thing for possible evidence

I wonder if it’s keeping good time in the EOD locker?

He was born in the US.

And Dolphie was born in Austria, and Hussein claims he was berfed in Hawaii. What does the place of birth have to do with it?

A gazillion Messicants were berfed here, and they obviously are NOT AMERICAN, and have no intentions of ever becoming one other than to grift our social services!

Could be one reason America is so bad at STEM training in schools — if kids show aptitude, we arrest them.

Wish someone would have arrested the 19 terrorist highjacks before they blew up the Twin Towers on 9/11. These people should not be allowed into the USA.

Where you were born does have something to do with the senselessness of people telling you to go home.

As far as the kid is concerned, he IS home.

A kid wearing a NASA teeshirt, member of the robotics club, misses his student council meeting because he was arrested in a government school for bringing a simple circuit that devised to tell time. Seriously, guys, if you don’t give this guy the presumption of innocence, I’d say there’s some pretty distorted prejudice. His accusers are government school teachers and Irving cops. Both groups routinely blow things way out of proportion: government school teachers with zero tolerance nonsense, and Irving cops with unwarranted roadside cavity searches (aka, raping citizens).

At 11 a.m. CDT, the Irving cops and school system have a press conference. We may just learn the facts of the matter then.

Thats an ambivalent datum. He may be here because he is opposed to the prevailing standards of the Sudan, and he may be running because he thinks he can help change them.

Or, yes, he could be trouble. Insufficient data.

YES! Thank you. Sure, this is a troublesome demographic. But IF this kid is innocent, the school and police just made it a little harder for him to believe that the US really is about freedom, our common law traditions, and so forth.

Of course, we have reached critical mass WRT to ignorant and thoughtless teachers in state schools. The good ones are in the minority and are pressured to be mediocre. So a circuit board without anything that could be an explosive on it is taken by the wonderously stupid school as a potential ... bomb!

Oooh, transistors! LEDs! Beepy noises just like in the MOVIES! Everybody under his desk, STAT!
