Just a coincidence, I'm sure.
If they're sincere in supporting Trump, I see no reason to zot them just over the born on date. This last FReepathon took over 70 days to complete and if newbies are treated as pariahs here, it will be tough for those with tenure to speed things along. I'm still considered a n00b here because of being here for a a mere five years. And one of the most active FReepers assisting with the 'thons also has a somewhat recent born on date.
It can't just be the FRe (Free Republic Elite) from the pre-2000 years keeping this site active and vibrant. Some (like me) don't have a whole lot of years ahead and some young 'uns -- so long as they're thoroughly Conservative -- can keep Free Republic at the top.
I suspect that demographically, the New York of 1980 no longer exists.
How does the white population compare, percentage wise, then and now?
Thanks for early morning chuckle!
Know Trump is no Conservative but he is saying things that need to be said, knows how to handle the media and has the GOPe and the dems scared which is a good thing.
We just bought a 2011 328. The last year of the DOHC in line 6. 35,000 miles. The old 2001 was getting a little long in the tooth. What an engine! What a car. Half the car is engine. I swear.
I have been saying all along the Rats and RINOs carefully laid plan for the battlefield has been destroyed by Trump. More evidence, we learn yesterday the GOPee changed the rules in 2014 such that after March 15 all primaries were winner take all. They sent so many to splinter support in the first four states so that after Jeb won Florida no one could catch up. One problem. Trump is now ahead in Florida. Think of it. If Trump takes Florida AND Neuva York in both the primaries AND the election, as our boy says, it is GAME OVER. The Rats and RINOs can both pound sand.
For the right price, I'll tell you exactly what they'll do.
ABSOLUTELY. It’s over. Go back to your holes, garbage cans, elite enclaves, RATS and RINOS.
Welcome aboard, E2Oerer.
Reagan carried NY state but not NYC.
If anything NYC is less Republican now than then....
I can see Trump winning the GOP primary in NY (maybe even NYC)
but not carrying it in the general election.
True, no way any Republican carries NY or California now....any notion that they can is just fools gold. These blue state governors are fools gold too.....
I’ve been wondering about the same thing. Why wouldn’t Trump be able to take New York. There is a large Hispanic population, but they are by and large Caribbean Hispanic, not Mexican/Central American, which means they have not much more personal connection to illegal aliens than the average American other than that they share the same label “Hispanic”, which is in itself an overly broad label when you think about it. Then yes, NYC chock full of liberals dominates the state, but Bloomberg won twice there as a Republican (and once more as an independent), and now with di Blasio unleashing a major crime wave, a lot of New Yorkers are probably looking back wistfully on the Bloomberg years. I could see it.
I just picked up a 98 328i with 178k. Needed a battery and some vacuum lines.
Paid $1k.
That was prior to rampant and blatant voter fraud.
Have the Live with Kelly and Michael morning show interrupted with Trump coverage. That would get him tons of free real time press. Have him interrupt SNL or the Late Show. New Yorkers love Trump. The elites on the other hand
.
The New York Republican Primary is currently scheduled* for April 19, 2016. Polling conducted for this race is shown below. Check back for updated information including a confirmed date, number of delegates and allocation method.
