The “S” version is always the perfected version of whatever model of iPhone starting with the iPhone 3.
The iPhone 6 I really did not see any issues with it. Now iOS 8 had a few issues, but it was quickly resolved with iOS 8.1 and iOS 8.2. Today it’s at iOS 8.4.
On Wednesday iOS 9.0 comes out.

Good to see that the Chinese show their patriotism by buying products made there.
Apple makes crappy products and then gets to sell the fixes as upgraded products. I wonder if they have to pay Microsoft a royalty fee for stealing their business model?

I have ordered a iPhone 6s Plus with 64GB, space grey. Looking forward to recieving it. I am not an Apple fanatic, just need a new phone. My old Galaxy Note II is getting pretty long in the tooth.

While the initial burst of preorders may be very large, I think Apple will not equal the unbelievable 74 million iPhone 6/6+ phones sold in the October-December 2014 time fame. My guess for the October-December 2015 quarter is more in the 55 to 64 million range for numbers of new iPhones sold.

"We are on pace to beat last year's 10 million unit first-weekend record when the new iPhones go on sale Sept. 25." Last year's preorders didn't include China. This year they do. Of course the numbers are up. China's about 30% of total iPhone sales.

I think the pink/ rose gold ones will sell like hot cakes.
That said, I’m currently on an iPhone 4S running OS 6. At this point most of my apps aren’t supported.
As of the 7th I’m eligible for an upgrade. I went to my local AT&T store this past weekend and can get an iPhone 6 w/ 128 GB now, or pre order the S version and get it in two or three weeks. I don’t mind waiting.
I’m just wondering what to do. Am I better off to get the phone now even though in two weeks it will be considered a year old- or get the new S version?
Also, I’m leaning towards the larger phone size, but don’t know if it will fit in a pocketbook. Does the Mrs have any advice?
