Not a particularly flattering photo in the article, but she was beautiful in her day and deserved the title. She still did well as an entertainer in spite of it, or because of it.
Please not another cup spinning New Yorker
guess she needs $$
Meet the 2016 Miss America contestants

She performed in a free concert in Los Angeles in late July. She was terrific as she went through her hits like Dreamin’ and her Broadway show tunes. I believe her children with former Laker star, Rick Fox, were in the crowd.
Something is verry verrrry wrong with the pictures at that link.
First, they almost exclusively show attractive women that do not look aneorexic. Are you absolutely sure you linked the right page?
There also appear to be a couple timber wolves. But for the most part they almost all look like they actually belong in a beauty contest instead of a hospital recovery ward. And I am not entirely kidding with this post. To be honest, not even mostly kidding.
A few of the women look much better in other photos, but not in these. Is it too much makeup.
“Her Miss America career was cut short after unauthorized nude photos of her were published.”
“Unauthorized” makes it sounds as if someone snuck into her bathroom and took photos of her in the shower. The photos were actually of Vanessa and another girl in a very explicit lesbian scene. The nitwit knew what she was doing. Hardly a victim.
Miss Colorado reminds me of my wife, but not as pretty.
True: my wife was the homecoming queen, valedictorian and graduated summa cum lauded from college.
For some reason she dated outside of her species and married me!
Don’t hear much about or from Traci.
She did a few legit acting roles in some movies and helped ruined the 2nd season of First Wave.
Years ago I met her at a Dragoncon, seemed personable enough which was more than I expected. A friend from the office begged me to get her autograph and I picked one up for him. Made his week. Besides meeting someone infamous doesn’t happen to me very often.

What gets me is the neon blue eyes. Someone is wearing contact lenses or got carried away with the tint functions of Photoshop because that color does not occur in nature.
Some of the grey eyes are questionable as well.
I am surprised at most of their actual ages because they sire don’t look 18-21ish. More like 25-30...which is far from a bad thing IMO.
A few appear rather homely (Idaho, Washington) but maybe they just don’t take a good picture. They could be charismatic and charming in real life.
Miss Wisconsin. Short haired woman can be cuute, especially with green eyes like that.
You bet.
I was the new kid in town, she was the homecoming queen.
Introduced in church, married a year later to the day.
37 1/2 years ago.
She was working as a photographer’s assistant and had the photos done as a personal expression thing. Back in the day one actually had some expectation of privacy.
Which pretty much destroyed the collectibility of the Vanessa William Penthouse issue. Possession of it is illegal.
Interested tidbit about Lords. Two days after her 18th birthday she filmed one X-rated movie in Paris, sold the rights for $100,000 and walked away from the porn biz. All her other films had been pulled from the shelves costing the industry millions.
