No white food.
Stay away from pasta, sugars, too much salt, rice and with a little exercise you will stay fit and thinner.
I need to change things personally. I was 175 with a 51 heart rate. Now I am after marriage, inactivity, finding sodas and eating too much I am 230 with a 72 heart rate.
I know I need to cut portions, I don't need soda and other things but I find it is addictive as heck.
I will agree with anyone here about push aways, absence of sugars and exercising more, but it isn't easy and I honestly find it tough.
My wife occasionally does Medifast. Good program but one can only eat so long that stuff.
I think it comes down to basically change your will power to stop things at a certain point and to change things.
Always easier said than done IMO.
Knowledge is easy to acquire. Implementation is a tough one. Government can't make people do anything unless they make it part of getting the dole, but many like myself have never been on the dole.
I also have to get bone removed from the heel of my foot that is on my Achilles so I can run again for exercise. I came down with this goofy thing almost no one gets and if I take a good first step my Achilles could go POP.
I won the bad lottery on my foot. I'd rather have won the real lottery, though my wife is that to a large extent. :-)
Exactly. What were our ancestors eating a few hundred years ago? Probably pretty basic stuff and maybe even a little spoiled or maybe a lot more ripened.
That is what our bodies have been designed for.
Also, the body is designed to tune down its metabolism if it thinks that it is being starved. For times when food wasn’t as plentiful and survival necessary.
