The second review is interesting in that the reviewer had a problem with the Apple Watch while flying with his iPhone in Airplane mode. His Apple Watch failed to sync with his iPhone when he returned to non-Airplane mode and he had gone through a time zone, so he missed his flight. His error was not also putting his Apple Watch in Airplane mode as well. I know what happened. The Apple Watch was forced into Airplane mode by the iPhone, but then it wasn't capable of being switched back automatically, being in Airplane mode, to re-sync to the iPhone. The user has to do that on the Watch itself, because there is no connection between the iPhone and the Watch because the Watch is has to be passive to meet the Airplane mode standard. Had he turned it back to non-Airplane mode, the Apple Watch would have re-synced to the iPhone and the time-zone change would have been adjusted and he would have made his flight. It was not understanding Airplane Mode that screwed him up.
It is also an interesting review in that he downgraded his Apple Watch selection from the more expensive Apple Watch Stainless Steel to a less expensive Anodized Aluminum Apple Watch Sport, and gives his esthetic reasons for doing so.
