That Was Quick: Donald Trump Now Says America Has Too Many Problems To Accept Migrants from Syria
The Right Scoop ^ | 9/10/2015 | THe Right Scoop

Last night Donald Trump was clear on the BillO show that even though he didn’t like the idea, that America has a responsibility to accept Syrian migrants here on a humanitarian basis.

But tonight he’s done a complete 180 and now says America has too many problems to take in migrants from this crisis in the Middle East.

Good...that means he’s open to good advice and not to proud to change his mind when he’s wrong.

I don't see anything wrong with politicians doing a "complete 180" on the issue of those questionable refugees from the war zone. When people first see the horrific death and people marching away from their destroyed homelands, the instantaneous reaction is revulsion and wanting to do something.

Then, as the facts become clearer, it becomes obvious that this is an invasion. When armed with the facts, the sane reaction would then be "let Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar (etc) take them in".

When is some wise pol ever going to say the real enemy is Saudi Arabia, and why the hell are we fighting wars for them?

I am glad he came around. I hope he actually means it.

Those people are from cultures alien and hostile our nation and our culture. They bring with them nothing the Nation or its lawful Citizens and Residents need. Instead, the represent a threat to the safety of public and burden to the taxpayer.

And if he were to do another 180 on the issue. I'll vote Trump but I'd sure like somebody who has some clarity on the issues. Cruz maybe?

But the anti-Trump crowd will call him a flip flopper. All the candidates change their minds on issues at one time of another. It’s called being flexible and looking at additional information on a given subject. None of believe the same things we used to believe when we were younger - at least I hope not.

Trump’a flipflopping does not have the same implications that it has with your normal pols. Where his is not well informed he takes the emotional position when he is tripped up by a question. Then he gets informed and the second take is the right one. If he says the wrong thing there are people whom he respects who will educate him and he is a quick study. Others who have supposedly been studying things for many years who flip on a subject cause alarms bells to go off where I hear them.

How can there be “clarity” with such quickly moving events? A few months ago, the issue was Christians and other minorities who weren’t being protected. Now the issue of the past few weeks is primarily fighting-age men from the war zone walking to Europe and nobody except Hungary trying to stop it. A good leader will respond to changing events, not wait for a focus group and survey to see what will garner the most votes.

I like Trump. On the overall issues, he is head and shoulders ahead of the others. Nobody is perfect, but Trump, warts and all!

It's hard when you're not governed by ideology/ moral foundation. Trump, by his own admission and observed by his supporters, depends on his intelligence and experience of what works. That's fine for a businessman but not president where ideology is a matter of life and death of a nation.

So did Walker. I don’t think many had an ample chance to think this out.

I don’t blame any of them for not quite knowing what to do with it. It was seen as a European problem until Jon Cary mentioned we would take a bunch of the foreign fighter invaders too.

You know the media, even FOX reports this as a bunch of poor little familes being mistreated by people like Hungarians. They rarely point out most of them are fighting aged men.

Once people see that, the whole picture changes.

Flip-flopper? Maybe. Has no sound ideology? Definitely.

We've known Islam is a demonic death cult since before the United States was established. Part of the reason jorge busho got o'dummy elected was because jorge proclaimed iSlime to be a religion of peace. And he said that while standing in the rubble of the WTC.

Recognition of the insanity of bringing those savages into our country isn't "clarity." It's common sense.

A viable candidate should already hold to that position, don't you think? It should not come as an afterthought.

I thought you called ‘em as you seez ‘em..
I see a wart. If it were anyone else, you would not be warning him to ...get behind me,,get behind me..I can handle this.

All candidates change their minds. From one night to the next?

‘’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’’

Seems we’ve had enough of ideology of the wrong kind for the last several years. I’m all for someone (Trump) who puts America First because he loves America, not because it is politically correct. The life and death of this nation depends on the ideology of AMERICA FIRST and Trump is the only one who is yelling it from the rooftops to the chagrin of the pussy footers who want everybody to love us. Make America strong again and we’ll be winners again. I don’t care whether we’re loved or not. Mt parents taught me that you can’t “buy” friends.
