Must be me but that is hilarious.
I call my son’s rabbit, Stew. My son is not amused.
The community service should have to be performed at O’Hare Airport.
Sent her pictures of his fine dinning also.
Why, did he cook it wrong?
Hmmm Fatal Un-Attraction?
sick bastard
Hare today, gone tomorrow.
Should anyone walking out of an In-N-Out or Chick-fil-A be arrested for cruelty to cows or chickens? Or is making it yourself a legal distinction?
Eating Hare pie is against the law?
What is this world coming....to?
This is an older story that says he didn’t eat her rabbit. I don’t know. Either way, he’s a twisted sort of fellow.
This link also says he’s an actor. This story probably won’t do much helping him find another girlfriend.

Sick bastard (not you, the subject of the story).
How is it animal cruelty? Rabbits are considered livestock. Rabbits are sold for slaughter in CA. If she had a steer or calf and he ate it, it may be an act of cruelty toward her but in no way is an act of cruelty toward the calf or steer as it is livestock. I guess someone could make an argument the it was a dwarf or lop or some other such breed that is not normally raised for slaughter but the department of ag makes no such distinction. And since when is butchering and cooking graphic? Do we need to cover the meat counter at Safeway?
Crappy lawyer.
What this boils down to is a property crime. This is no different than him vandalizing her car or urinating on her clothes.
Rabbits are a food product. If he killed it humanely, I don’t think it would be “animal cruelty,” although it’s emotional cruelty to his ex-girlfriend.
“He was ordered to perform 60 days of community labor and undergo 48 hours of animal cruelty counseling.”
I can understand the punishment of community labor because it was her pet, but unless he tortured the animal before making food out of it, the animal cruelty counseling shows just how ignorant the judge is with the agriculture/food system.
