You are the best thing that ever happened to that cat. My male cat had a bad life before I got him.

He was rescued by an animal rescue friend of mine. Had one eye gouged out, a broken jaw, numerous injuries. When she found him, she immediately scooped him up and took him to the vet. A couple of thousand $$ later, she was looking for a home for him, and I KNEW I had to have him. I felt he needed me. I know I needed him. He has been with me for nine years now and is a totally wonderful pet. He may have to have more teeth pulled and I have wondered how he was going to eat very well. I’m encouraged now, after hearing your story.

Oh a good story there....sounds like he was pretty beat up too ....stories of need love are the best when it comes to animals.....they bring the love side out of us when we’re on our own.

I will tell you that I shared with the vet my concern about ‘Cats’ teeth gone and she laughed....said not to worry a bit about that...cats will woof it right down anyway...and it’s proved true.

I must admit “Cat” prefers the soft food most cats do I think....I buy him the ‘hard’ food that’s small bits...Friskies I think...so that he always has food to nibble on at his leisure. He gets the wet food at least twice a day usually more....he’s like me ..a grazer...eats small amounts often. So if he wants food he stands by his dish with “The Glare”. I also feed him chicken when I cook it...I scissor cut it and freeze so he always has a “snack”.

Not only that but “Cat” has brought home here field mice, baby bunnies and birds though he doesn’t get to eat them now...he just wants to show me the prize I think....but he sure does have a strong grip with his mouth despite no teeth.
