Im from Georgia. Over the past three years...ive done several jobs in the city. Three in Manhattan...one in Quenns and one in Astoria.
Ive found nyc folks to be considerate...and very grounded. Especially in Manhattan.
Im a carpenter...with a thick southern accent. Not once did I feel snubbed. Believe me, I live for that shit....not once.
I love the city....in small doses.

Yeah that’s my take as well. There are actually way worse cities than New York... Philly, for example.
