To me the most unrealistic thing about the Walking Dead (aside from the zombies) is the utter lack of humor.

Even in the most dire of situations people find something to laugh at.

Exactly what I was thinking! That’s what I like about Z Nation.

I was thinking the same, I think a parody of Walking Dead would make a very funny series.

Title maybe something like... Hey We Are People Too or The Dead Walking Family...

Humor is a part of how humans deal with stress, so I agree. However, to me, the most unrealistic thing about the show is the thing Hollywood loves most: constant bickering and pointless drama. In my experience, when things get nasty and people get scared, a group tends to bind together more tightly rather than fall apart, and all of the petty things go away, at least until the danger is gone. This show has them arguing over the dumbest things right in the middle of an apocalypse.

I thought week one was a tad slow, but Laurie Holden makes up for it. I still don’t quite follow the thing where the dead have to eat flesh. If it’s any flesh, why don’t they eat each other?

How about explaining why it takes so long for people to learn to shoot them in the head? In the America I live in the average ‘bitter clinger’ would most likely have his family pulled into the home and neighbors would quite quickly have identify & kill tactics and groups established.
