Yes, he's definitely a Johnny Depp look alike.
Not sure who I want to see dead more: Glen? Or the new Junkie. Although Glenn was a bit of a bad ass last season.
That was a good movie.
Amen. The only thing I fear about this show is that it will continue on with this family of libtard losers, none of which have any survivor abilities whatsoever. It’s like a bunch of Holly Wood dips got together and said, “It’s not right that those strong, independent Southerners are so good at surviving. Let’s do a show where a dysfunctional liberal family are the survivors.”
I’m giving it one more chance, but honestly...I’m pulling for the zombies.
DVRing it.
I thought last week was the season finale of The Last Ship, but TNT slipped in a few more episodes.
I hope FTWD is better this week.
It will be interesting to see the viewership numbers for Episode 2. Episode 1 viewership numbers were massive. We will see if they lost viewership tonight.
Good point I hadn’t noticed. This blended, multicultural, multiethnic family just needs a gay member to complete its profile.
Bring on “The Fear”!
I loved the 1st episode. It was slower but scarier than TWD.
But I’m reading that episode 2 picks up the pace very quickly.
Laughing my head off at your tagline.
It’s not a family! Just a couple who are shacking up.
add me pls
Cleveland has them! And those high zombies all have EBT cards.
So they eat people, smoke weed and meth, then get the munchies.
Jesus Christ: You cant impeach Him and He aint gonna resign.

You should already be on TWD ping list. Did you get pinged earlier today?
The way the pilot unfolded, I thought the problem was that the drugs were tainted/bad, causing many of the junkies to die. The issue was that the girl came back first and fed, one stabbed her, but most of the others rose from the dead later, after the surviving junkie saw the girl and ran.
That explains why the building was pretty much empty but for another really scared guy when the stepfather came back.
An interesting twist could be that the zombie virus is spread through intravenous drug use like other things spread via bodily fluids. It spreads nationwide via the drug trade and drug smuggling, which is why it pops up all over the place AND goes uncontrolled for so long. The violence of people attacking and eating each other won’t stand in a suburb, but in a drug den or homeless shelter, people think it is “bath salts” or another bad high and let it go, ignoring people who rise from the dead until it is too late to stop another few getting infected. Until the strain goes airborne or somehow otherwise gets into the whole population.
He may be the only one showcased so far who knew how to use guns and make a headshot without wasting all the ammo.
Well, we do know from the opening scene that Nick, the junkie kid, did have a girlfriend, so that right there already makes him more masculine than Darryl.
Remember Jenner from TWD at the CDC? He told Rick that everyone is a carrier of the virus and that when everyone dies, they will too rise from the dead.
I remember the scene, and that explanation tells us why everyone who dies rises.
It doesn’t tell us how such a pathogen spreads throughout the world (or North America, as far as the show tells us) so quickly.
After all, a virus in one region that causes the dead to come back would get noticed and suppressed unless it was nearly simultaneously everywhere.
Otherwise, you nuke the infected area or fire bomb it Dresden style to wipe it and the zombies out.
