His final start will probably be the Breeder’s Cup Classic. So, in total, 3 races after winning the Triple Crown.

Rarely, if ever, did a horse immediately retire after taking the Triple Crown. I don’t know of any instances. But I could be wrong.

The Egyptian owners are running a big risk keeping the first Triple Crown Winner in 37 years on the track. Losses, or worse, an injury that requires the horse to be put down, are possible. Balanced against the 10s or 100s of millions of dollars to be made in stud fees. Just plain stupid.
