Had this replacement done about a month ago at the Apple Store. Left it there for an hour while they worked in it, and they didn’t charge anything.

Apple is recalling a small number of iPhone 6Plus phones that fall in a limited serial number range and were sold primarily between September 2014 and January 2015. These apparently had a camera component that is now failing that will cause blurry photos from the rear facing camera. Apple will replace that component for FREE. Note this is only the iPhone 6 PLUS, not the iPhone 6 model. You can check your serial number here to see if your iPhone is included in the recall. PING!

As I feared...it must be me. Serial number on my iPhone 6Plus is ‘not eligible’.
So, as Mrs PubliusMM reminds me, I take blurry photos.
