An atheist group is demanding that publicly funded universities take immediate steps to bar Christian coaches and chaplains from converting football fields into mission fields.
The words of coaches and chaplains make clear that their purpose is to instill Christianity in vulnerable young men, the Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF) says in a new report, titled Pray to Play.
Public universities and their employees cannot endorse, promote, or favor religion, the report states. Yet, many football coaches at public universities bring in chaplainsoften from their own church or even members of their own familyto prey on and pray with students, with no regard for the rights of those students or the Constitution.
These coaches are converting playing fields into mission fields and public universities are doing nothing to halt this breach of trust. They are failing their student athletes.

We are in an ideological war. From a Marxist viewpoint, an atheistic mind is already three-fourths conquered.
The Naked Communist, Chapter 12
The so-called FFRF is 100 percent conquered by Marxism though.

Simple .... refuse public funding .... if the school is any good ... it WILL survive
WHY do we think we can't make it without "government funding" ?
You would NEVER enter a business relationship, friendship or marriage with so many strings attached .... what is it about money that people will take it in the ass for ?

The players get atheism in all their other courses, so what’s the problem?
Could you imagine a group warning public schools and universities not to instill atheism in vulnerable youths?

What we need to do to militant atheists is to circulate anti-Muslim anti-Mohammad propaganda around Muslim neighborhoods with the Militant Atheists Names and addresses attached to it.
Kill two birds with one stone.

Introducing these “vulnerable young men” to homosexuality and other perversions is perfectly okay, but introducing them to Jesus Christ might warp them...

“Publicly funded” means funded by the public, which includes a lot of Christians who are okay with this. Where do these sniveling leftists get off claiming the supposed right to tell us how OUR money is spent?

I’ve been out of school for a while now. Is the FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) still around? We had them at our high school back in the ‘80’s.

They are
still around. I do not know what their status is with respect to the pressure that the god of this world and its acolytes have been applying, though.

This pains me to say because sports has been an integral part of my family's daily life, however here is a thought: The Atheist/Sodomite crowd is achieving such power in every aspect of daily life, we may find that God is calling our kids out of sports, in addition to public school. When the celebrated athletes, are those who wear dresses and get breast implants, perhaps our kids have no business being in sports with these freaks. Knowing the history of Greece and Rome, I do think it is going to get worse every day (e.g. naked olympics, etc.)...;-(
Perhaps we need to spend more time at the shooting range, than the gridiron?
