“Though additional work always remains, the physical sciences have completed their core task when it comes to climate change,” says Bill McKibben... "What we don’t know is how to stop ourselves from harming the climate, which is why this book and the social sciences are so important.”

Edited by environmental sociologists Robert J. Brulle, PhD, a professor in Drexel University’s College of Arts and Sciences, and Riley E. Dunlap, a professor at Oklahoma State University, the book highlights new things by presenting climate change as a completely social phenomenon, implanted in behaviors, institutions and cultural practices.

“We need to develop the conversation to sociologists as well who can help address these human aspects of climate change and answer questions like, how can we change our culture of consumption, how will we respond to extreme weather events caused by climate change and how do we bridge the political divide on this issue,”

Keep it simple, because its all just about money.
Man bad
Climate good
Man hurt climate
Man must pay.

I don’t think we are going to be able to change the “climate conversation” without machine guns.

Obviously, social scientists want in on the climate change gravy train. They feel left out.

30 years ago, in 1985, I would have thought it impossible for a florist or a baker, for example, to be successfully charged and convicted by a court of law for refusing to participate in a Gay wedding, but now it is happening.

If we continue to lose in the presidential races—meaning Hillary, Bernie or Slow Joe gets in, and their successors after—in 30 years you’ll be arrested for denying that mankind causes climate change.

These people are Fascists, and you are not allowed to disagree with them.

I think there are a couple prominent Republican names you can add to the list of politicians whose election victory would lead to defeat for America. Jeb Bush and John Kasich come to mind.

This headline is accurate. If one did not have the social science types moaning about impending climate disaster, the issue would simply go away, now that the ‘scientific’ perpetrators of this fraud have been proved to be liars.

“Though additional work always remains, the physical sciences have completed their core task when it comes to climate change,” says Bill McKibben... "What we don’t know is how to stop ourselves from harming the climate, which is why this book and the social sciences are so important.” This was all that was necessary to read, for me.

This person, whoever he is, is neither a scientist nor has even a hint of what science is.

None of the "Social Sciences" have ever been a science, and never can be.

Gheez.
Seriously?

"Stop ourselves from harming the climate?"
What sort of sophomoric statement is that?"
I have prevented myself from harming sunrises and sunsets all my life, too!
