Nope. Texas Freeper Marcella has watched him closely; she has remarked before on his ability to tailor his speech to his audience.

Though he is definitely brilliant, Cruz is just one of us, anyway.

Speech therapists evaluated all the candidates speech during this past debate. Cruz was speaking at a 9th grade level. People understood him well. He wouldn't be speaking at a 9th grade level when he had a case before the Supreme Court which he has done numerous times when he was Texas Solicitor General. He does consider the audience before him when speaking to them.

The speech therapists said Trump was speaking at a 3rd grade level. I think this is his normal speech pattern as I don't hear any difference between the way he is speaking now and the way he spoke at the debate.
