Funny thing about Cruz is, he is undoubtedly the smartest candidate. I really do believe he is the only one that can “clear the room” in a debate scenario. I do NOT use the word lightly and I know what it means: Ted Cruz is a genius.
Cruz would never get past the RINOs because he can’t sell out to get the money needed to win.
I’m hoping he’s Trump’s VP pick and Trump only does one term.
Cruz would also be excellent for the Supreme Court.

He is indeed a genius. He speaks like he is reading from a script because he is. It is a script that he is writing in his head as he is speaking. He has written several pages and corrected them in advance of speaking and while he is doing that he is working on strategy and tactics.
He may be too smart to effectively connect with the common people... they are probably fearful and distrustful of him.
Ted Cruz is the smartest man in the room regardless of what room he enters.
