There are many stories out there about Gideon. The similarity to Trump is intriguing. Like Trump, he was not born into politics, but chosen. I'm sure Trump agonized over the decision to run for president. I'm sure too, that he felt called to do this. There are too many things going on, that make me think that he is the one, to lead us from the nightmare of the past six years, and what threatens to follow.
We are on the verge of giving Iran nuclear weapons. We have a president who tosses aside our security now and for ever.
I suggest googling "Gideon" and read the story. I excerpt just one here.
Gideon was the fifth judge over Israel in the book of Judges. He is introduced in chapter 6 of the book while he was collecting wheat and hiding it from the enemy. An angel came to him and asked him to take on the task of overthrowing the Midianites.

And how would Trump be any different than any other candidate? What about Boehner, McConnell, Bush and even Ted "I read the constitution but still support Obamatrade" Cruz?
If Trump does what he says he's going to do, he will be the great president.
If he doesn't, he will be just another RINO.
There is no Trojan Horse, unless of course he comes out for the terrorists, lets more muslims into the country and attacks Christians and their faith and be Iran's biggest supporter... Kind of like Obama.
"Mr.?" Is Catherine a male name where you come from, noob?
Hell, I guess it might be. You're clearly fine with the prospect of Trump "evolving" on queer marriage, and with the fact that abortion actually seems not to have mattered much to him at all.
And I'm supposed to be the liberal, LOL.
It's not that at all.
What's in Trump's background that so scary? He's crass, rude and obnoxious. So what.. Now compare that to Obama who has marxist ties, homosexual ties, professed his love for Islam. If Trump does what he says he's going to do, he will be a great president. If he doesn't, he will be tossed onto the pile of other RINOs that have failed America, just like Boehner and McConnell. And that is something we are guaranteed with the other candidates who have the establishment's support.
Let's be clear about Ted Cruz. He hasn't only "read" the Constitution. He began intensely studying and memorizing the founding documents from the age of 14. He traveled around Texas with a student group, giving speeches on the Constitution to various business groups. By the time he graduated high school, he had eighty speeches under his belt.
Has Trump ever mentioned the Constitution?
Everything hinges on the statement in your post, "If Trump does what he says he's going to do." That's a bad bet. You're putting your trust in a self-described Democrat who has a history of not living up to his grand promises.
The choice we have to make is not between Trump and Obama, but between Trump and the other Republican candidates.
Did I miss the news about Cruz, Carson, Walker, Jindal, and Paul dropping out of the race??
Yes, he gave speeches. Then shafted the America people by supporting Obamatrade and wants to increase HB1 visas.
You're putting your trust in a self-described Democrat who has a history of not living up to his grand promises.
And how does that make him any different the republicans? Seriously. When have they lived up to their promises of late? If they had, Trump would not be an issue.
It’s okay, hardly anyone pays attention to you anyhow.
Good God indeed. Trump is a blow hard we cannot trust. He has supported Democrats in the past. May as well nominate a heroin addicted monkey if we are stupid enough to nominate Trump.
Good call. This is a man who went bankrupt and then turned to crap TV to remake his legacy.
He hates free speech.
Keep rationalizing to support your Democrat. It’s all the rage now.
I can’t wait until you post a response to me that’s above fifth-grade level.
lol
Good one. The sad thing is he is taking attention away from good anti-establishment candidates like Cruz. But, if he can vote split with Jeb that could be a good thing...
And you keep rationalizing your support for the establishment. That way you can keep pretending their is a difference between the democrats and republicans.
“I cant wait until you post a response to me thats above fifth-grade level.”
Promise to hold your breath and turn blue youngster?
I will admit that I very rarely ask God for forgiveness, He forgave me when He saved me. I believe that and try to live as He asks.
To me, asking forgiveness every day or frequently seems to be a lack of faith or perhaps pride, in that “I’ll do what I want and then ask for forgiveness” type thing.
Like people who are routinely snarky and then apologize. If they were truely sorry for their behavior, they wouldn’t continue to do it.
I can’t explain well what I mean but I do understand a position of not always asking for forgiveness.
Trying to paint Cruz, the ultimate anti-establishment, anti-Washington cartel candidate as “establishment” in order to justify supporting a self-described Democrat is laughable.
Millions of Americans are like me, social moderates and Fiscal Conservatives. I guess you’d want me and the rest to vote democrat instead of Republican or Tea Party candidate wouldn’t you. Yeah that would help America out of it’s current rut now wouldn’t it Mr holier than thou!-)
