I’ll wait for the reviews. I’m running Win7 and I’m very satisfied with it.

Windows 7 was not a free upgrade.

I have Win 10
I can tell no difference when operating with the traditional shell. It might be snappier and has Edge

Shows you that Win 8/8.1 was far worse than Vista.

Well Whoop-de-freaking-doo. They’re giving it away.
For now.
I bet the business model is that they take hold of your computer with the “free” “upgrade” and then essentially hold it hostage requiring annual “subscription” fees. From them, I’d expect no less.

6.6%? Chickenfeed. It's close to 10% in the Scandinavian countries. Windows 10 will quickly overtake the entire OS X market share/install base in short order and proceed to take over the world.

Just think how quickly the market penetration would mount for other products if they, too, were also given away for free. Why, it’s revolutionary!

That is simple: WIN7 was an OS while WIN10 is a virus.

This must mean that 8 sucked worse than Vista.
Wish I still had XP.

People like free stuff.
I’m resisting on most of my engineering work stations. I will put 10 on my newest accounting machine.
Call me skeptical when it comes to anything free from the world’s richest company.
