Still use a Parang that a old man made for me on a homemade forge from a piece of leaf spring steel he had from a rusted out surplus WWII relic..... It was 1973 and I was stationed at Clark AB. One of the best blades I own still. He even made me a fine mahogany sheath for it.

All I can say is this — many don’t realize this, but the US military has always been a force for stability in the world.

The fact that Japan, Germany, South Korea, and now even the Philippines has and is becoming economic powerhouses is testament to the great work of our military.
