You might want to call it Android/Chrome list.
We have Android phones, tablet, a Chromebook, and use the Chrome Browser with our Windows computer. They interact with each other.

At the moment I’m playing with the “IP Webcam” app on an old Android phone (Wi-Fi only). The app works great, now trying to figure out a way to send a text, tweet or email when it detects motion. Fun project.

You can also use Presence for turning an old phone into an IP camera; takes a bit of work to get the settings right however. It will auto-notify and save film snippets for you.

Hi ThunderSleeps. You logo is not appearing. I looked and it seems the quotation marks in the HTML commands are wrong. Check it out. It appears they have been changed by the Freepmail system using a replacement type of quotation mark that has been replaced by a ASCII code instead of the HTML command quotation mark. I'm going to try it again for you. . .

...I have no idea what your thread is all about... Good point. What is the Android Ping List going to be about?
There certainly is no lack of information out there on Android. I/we could spend a lot of time trying to keep up with the Android ecosystem.
However, it is not my intent to flood FR with a bunch of Android stuff. This isn't a tech forum, though it is the most intelligent and articulate group of people I've ever come across online.
So my intent here is to focus on things of a security and privacy nature that relate to Android. Things that I believe might interest my fellow Freepers. Feedback from the list and FR at large will fine tune that.
We'll see how it goes. Apparently there is a fair amount of pent up interest. In just a couple of hours on a weekend I've already gotten about 20 people requesting to be on the list.
