City leaders in Boston, Cambridge and Everett are saying enough is enough after an otherwise beautiful summer night Wednesday was marred by gun violence that claimed five lives and left cops bracing for retaliatory bloodshed.

“We are a better city than this,” an exasperated Mayor Martin J. Walsh said yesterday, hours after the city was hit by two shootings in a span of five minutes that left three young men dead — one of them the nephew of a Boston
police officer.

"Retaliatory bloodshed"? Democrats are an awfully violent breed.

If only they could ban something and tax something - this would stop.

What’s up with retaliation? Are these shootings gang related? Related to known drug dealers or other known criminals?

Liberals are the most violent creatures other than Muslims I’ve encountered.

We need to stop funding those who don’t work as well as they do so they have no time and have to consider more where to work in order to get their next meal.

“We believe gangs are involved,” Evans said. “We clearly believe the parties in both locations were targeted. Every indication was the suspects came up and opened fire.”

[Everett Mayor] Demaria said in a statement. “The Everett Police Department and I would like to reiterate our strong opposition to crime in Everett."

Courageous! Articulate! Outspoken! Where do leaders like this come from, in what crucible are they formed? Truly we live among giants!

Which US city over 50K population doesn’t have a gang/illegal alien problem? Anybody?

Well there you have it. The gangs are having their battles. This violence is not happening due to inadequate background checks for gun purchases or any of that.

Heck, would not be surprising if the entire arsenal of the gangs was stolen or acquired illegally some other way.

Yep, it’s nice to hear the mayor of a town state that he is against crime in his town. Amazing statement.

Liberals always profess to be amazed that career criminals aren’t concerned about acquiring weapons legally.

Anchorage, Alaska maybe? I have a cousin there who reports it is pretty quiet for a city of its size. Most of the trouble is alcohol and wildwood flower related, lots of auto accidents involving drunks and stoners.

Why do you suppose that is?
