I hope the bird did not cut itself on the rotor blades.

So cool!!! Can we hire eagles (or falcons) to take out drones flying over our properties? Since shooting them down is verboten.

"shooting them down is verboten."
It might be verboten, but that doesn't mean that if there is a lot more of those things spying on people, a lot more will end up getting blasted out of the sky by things other than birds.
For the record, I've yet to see a drone flying around my property. But we'll see what the future holds. I think there's a very large pct. of Americans who don't like things spying on them...and they're armed.

Go, Eagle!
Kids and hubby spent a good amount of time looking for Kid #2’s drone while I was roasting a very expensive Christmas roast in the oven back in December.
Mr Kitty did found the drone in a driveway 2 blocks away, so the roast wasn’t ruined, but I refused to ruin a good beef roast for a drone!

They make a drone that drops threads that entangle the other drone`s rotors. DRONE WARS!

Most compact UAVs come from the factory with flexible plastic rotors.
One can obtain carbon fiber composite rotors after-market.
BE CAREFUL with those ... they improve performance, on account of being lighter, slicker, and stiffer.
They’re also razor sharp.

Could get down righty sporting on the lower flying intruders.
Some salt water rigs with 6” treble hook lures, maybe rigging a nylon cat-o-nine tails with weighted ends.
Some light weight spring loaded fishing nets popping up.
Those 1200fps air rifles with laser sights... could get sporty real quick
