I always thought a perfect actor to play Macarthur was - Ronald Reagan. I think he would have resembled Macarthur in uniform, and his sense of command would gave been appropriate. Too bad he thought winning the Cold War was more important than playing at winning a war in the movies. /sarc

On a flight back from Europe yesterday, I saw a very good mob film starring Liam Neeson. It’s recent but I guess I missed it when it came out. It was called Run All Night, and it was excellent.
