This new amazon show called 'The Man in the High Castle' explores what would have happened if the Allies had lost World War II. It's based on a Philip K. Dick novel from 1962.
The hour-long drama stars Alexa Davalos (Mob City), Luke Kleintank (Pretty Little Liars), Rupert Evans (The Village), Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa (Mortal Kombat Legacy), and Rufus Sewell (Eleventh Hour). Ridley Scott is Executive Producer.
It streams on Amazon prime this fall.

I remember a book or movie that did this many moons ago. Can’t remember the name. Hitler won the war.
Are we sure the Allies did win WWII? I don’t think the U.S. did.
We kind of have a world where we lost the cold war. The left is in charge everywhere. It’s kind like a cross between Animal Farm and Night of the Living Dead.
First episode is online and it’s great.
Based on the book by Phillip K. Dick entitled THE MAN IN THE HIGH CASTLE.
Are you referring to “Fatherland”?
Saw the pilot. Looks like an excellent show. Can’t wait till it’s released!
Philip L Dick & Ridley Scott - good match.
Sounds like something from Harry Turtledove.
While we were busy fighting tyranny overseas, it infiltrated America from the inside and took control of our government with promises of nothing but lots of free stuff. Give us your freedom and we’ll shower you with freebies and handouts.
Is a Marxist Muslim Tyrant president and the opposition party are quislings?
Yeah they made for HBO back in late 1980s and 90s start I think Steven Rea he coming off that Crying game movie
Just like always we won the war but lost the peace.
Just like we won the Cold War over the Soviet Union but the commies won propaganda war inside the US.
The commies took the battle to the schools, colleges and media. McCarthy tried to warn us but instead we listened to the media and hence the media and leftist professors rewrote history and defeated us from the inside.
Why would I want to go watch liberal porn?
‘Fatherland’ starred Rutger Hauer.
Phillip K. Dick is often forgotten but so many of the movies we know were spawned by his writing. I would love to see “The variable man” made into a movie.

“First episode is online and its great.”
Do you have to have Amazon Prime to watch it? I did hear it was excellent.
Sorry, here’s another question, do you have to watch on your computer, or can it be watched on the TV?
There was a good series called “Island At War” about the German occupation of The Channel Islands, which were the only British-held territories to be occupied by the Germans during the war.
Fatherland, with Rutger Hauer, based on a book by the same name.
Thank you! Read the book and saw the movie.
