Why the constant attack on Megyn Kelly?? My view was that the Fox panel asked the type of tough, hard hitting questions we should expect at a debate; if Trump can’t handle them (and he reacted like a 16 year old boy) then he doesn’t deserve to be president. Frankly, I am sick of the “debates” where the tough questions are on the order of “Why are you so wonderful, Mrs. Clinton?” We live in a world of threats and the threat of socialism engulfing us in this wonderful country; a man who simply reacts with insults to every perceived slight or insulting question is not going to be able to do the job. I’m not a Rino or moderate and Trump has raised some very good issues that Boehner and McConnell are scared to come near, but if he wilts like he has the past week there is no way he can handle the crap that the Dems and their media sycophants will throw at him.

Be prepared to be sent to the Trump re-education threads from his supporters...

I agree. The questions weren’t nice? SorryDonald. I’m going with Cruz or Huckabee, but probably Cruz. I will however vote for whoever wins on our side, with the exception of Bush.

Now, now. Maybe a couple of the questions were “tough”. But Kelly’s was strictly of a “do you still beat your wife?” type.
The worse aspect of their questioning of Trump was none of them were of a policy or issue nature. Very irritating.

I agree. But I think people are mostly upset because they know it will continue to be that way for the democrats while shots masked as questions are hurled only at republicans.

If only she could have been just as tough on the other Pubbie candidates as she was on The Donald.

A debate is where everyone gets the same question and gives their answer.

Its not where the moderators insert themselves into the debate with attack questions singling out one candidate.

Candy Kelly is getting a Facebook smack down which she so richly deserves.

1) I wanted substantive questions from the Fox debate. I learned next to nothing thanks to the three anchors. It was the most poorly conducted debate I can recall.

2) Hillary will get no hard hitting questions during the entire election cycle. Especially from Kelly, if she ever gets the chance.

the Fox panel asked the type of tough, hard hitting questions we should expect at a debate;

Megyn: "You call women fat slobs..."

Donald: "Just Rosie O'Donnell."

Megyn: "No, more women than that..."

That was a LIE. Donald's remarks were directed at Rosie after she viciously attacked him and his family on "The View."

On top of that, you have pointed abortion questions directed at several candidates (with no mention of PP!) and Cruz' "God question," among others.

This debate was one of the few where it would be POSSIBLE to ask substantive policy questions regarding critical issues (maybe Iran going nuclear, $200 trillion in unfunded liabilities, amnesty, defunding PP, etc. ad infinitum).

Instead, we got all-star wrestling. Ted Cruz got a total of 3 questions for a total of 3 minutes of time.

It was an absolute disgrace. I'm so angry at Fox I'm no longer watching them. It's apparent that they've gone full-RINO.

Tough questions on policy issues are what we want. Not this gotcha PC crap.

Do you want a fighter that will get down and dirty or a P.C. puss like Bush. I think people need to make up there minds to save this country or walk away. If those where tough, hard hitting questions you need to have grown on the street I grew up on. Also that was not a “debate” only a mad, small persons left wing attack. And yes Megyn is a closet lefty.

She didn’t ask a fair question. She ask a question similar to — when did you stop beating your wife? The moderators were out to bring Trump down, not conduct a fair debate. The first question by Bret was to box Trump in, then they were planning to knock him out with Megyn’s questions. They hoped that Trump would go down for the count, but it didn’t happen. Since when should a moderator do the bidding of the RNC to ask the question about whether Trump would run as a 3rd party candidate.

I looked up the comments that she had mentioned and felt they were totally unfair. One was on the reality TV show “The Apprentice”. It was obviously a set up line with a Playboy model and another man making the comment first. I looked up the Rosie feud. She definitely viciously attacked Donald first.

After that I looked up Megyn Kelly and found the GQ spread and her nasty interview with Howard Stern talking about her husband’s penis and their sex life and realized she had me fooled on what she believed. I actually liked her, but she is a very liberal person pretending to be conservative. No thanks, I don’t plan to be fooled by Fox anymore.

I also thought Megyn’s comments to Ben Carson were out of line. She implied he wasn’t fit. Ben answered the question well. But she purposely phrased the question to raise doubts that he should even be in the race.

She made it personal like a schoolyard bully. No intent to get to real issues. What a waste of time.

He hasn't wilted. Quite the opposite. He's blasted Kelly and wallace for avoiding asking about subtantive issues, and he's blasted RedState's Erick Erickson as "weak" for capitulation to political correctness.

I do agree that the panel asked the type of superficial gotcha' questions that are typical of the press.

What I can't handle is that Kelly turned the debate into the Bimbo Frolic. All sbout the Bimbo Blonde and her incredible tits. I wrote months ago that Kelly is a sexual exhibitionist. Fox takes smart women and turns them into a parade of hookers, and then we get this travesty if a debate.

Trump is beside the point, and I hope his team stomps that stupid tramp into a greasy spot.

Exactly right. This was a warm-up round to prepare for the tough gotcha questions waiting for whichever Republican wins the nomination. If you aren’t prepared to handle these with grace, good cheer and aplomb, then you crumple in the bigs. Everybody did well on that score except Trump and maybe Paul.

What you wrote bears repeating. Also if Trump is such as tough gut why does he need the protection of his fan base?

So, while ISIS is overrunning the east, terrorists are targeting our military at home, the inner cities are in turmoil, our economic decline is being managed by the president of the USA, the former secretary of state may soon be under a Federal indictment, our ambassador to Libya was murdered in the most cold-blooded, brutal way, our politicians are stealing our tax monies, YOU are upset that Donald Trump talked back to a girl. This morning, despite all the troubles I have listed, Chuck Todd decided the most important subject of the day was whether Donald Trump insulted Bette Midler. I give up!

Megyn Kelly approached that debate like a star out to douse a few hopefuls. Her first question to Trump was about his spat with Rosie O’Donnell. Who cares about that. Trump got the biggest laugh about that. Megyn attacked Trump on her show recently with the fake rape story. False. Really, Megyn? I can see her on FOX this morning doing damage control.

Trump could have been taken down on lots of stuff, do you really think he is up on foreign affairs? I am sure he could have been taken down with a serious question. Instead it was all tabloid crap.

Megyn closed the debate with her gotcha God question of Cruz meant to take him down a peg. Her trademark mocking smirk planted on her face. Cruz handled it very well, by the way.

In my opinion, Megyn had her RINOism showing as she went after Trump and the conservative icon, Ted Cruz. She is dead to me. Sick of her prima donna status.

Check out her Howard Stern interview and her cheesy sexy pictures. Enough of this bimbo. If she wants to be taken seriously, she must act the part.

FOX, overall, did a lousy job. The first debate was so much better. So what went wrong? FOX got their ratings coup, at a loss in the long run. DH turned on FOX this morning, I wouldn’t have. Sick of them.

Except Megyn asked a question that wasn’t an actual debate question where the candidates could argue a point and a counterpoint. She asked a personal question, and to his credit, Trump gave an honest answer and didn’t try to run away from it.
