Ah, that’s shy they know no history, logic, mathematics, science, or conduct.

And take drugs.

And get preggers.

And all this time I mistakenly thought it was due to the idiocy of liberalism.

They need to put their phones and such up and go to bed.

If you start class later, they’ll just stay up later.

Recommend to the parents that the children get to sleep around 9 PM. There, I solved the problem. Maybe this has more to do with teachers wanting more time in the AM to recover from their alcohol induced lethargy?

Those lazy little runts better not come knocking on my door looking for a job.
They'll invent a new derogatory civil rights term for what I'll say to them.

Hold school at night when they are wide awake.

With what they are being taught in schools these days the longer you can keep them away the better.

Too early? Not here in Texas, they don’t.

It’s the poor little elementary children that start at 7:20AM.

That means for much of the school year, they must be up, dressed, shipped off to school, eat breakfast in the school cafeteria, and then be in class...

ALL BEFORE THE SUN COMES UP!

I’ve said this for years. It makes no sense to have them start school so early and then turn them loose at two or three o’clock in the afternoon.

The early time was meant to coincide with parents’ work schedule. Wake up with the parents and go to school.

Of course, many parents in this country no longer work so their kids stay up with them...

“Recommend to the parents that the children get to sleep around 9 PM.”

Well, when schools are assigning 3-4 hours of homework a night, going to bed at that time pretty much rules out extra-curricular activities and sports, which are required if you want to get into a competitive college.

Seems like a case of “damned if you do, damned if you don’t”.

I am absolutely SHOCKED....SHOCKED I TELL YOU to find out that I was horribly mistreated back in the 50’s when I had to be at school....and sitting in my seat.....at......gasp!.....8am!

I demand some money from the government for my sleep depravity torture and I WANT IT NOW!

Why, indeed? Past generations got up early, often WALKED to school (uphill BOTH ways), did homework at night and managed to learn enough to build the greatest country in the history of the world.
With “modern” education, they can’t add, write, read, know history of anything, and still someone says the poor babies are being mistreated.
We learned the “3 R’s”, Reading, wRitin’, and Rithmatic. Today, unable to add over 10 without taking off their shoes, not being taught to wRite, and can barely Read their own names.
Soon the problem will NOT be “Doing the jobs Americans WON’T do but, rather, Doing the jobs Americans CANNOT do.”
Sure I sound like an olde fuddy duddy, but can today’s High School Seniors past the EIGHTH grade finals of yesteryear? That is, WIthout their electronic gizmos.
